ACURA was in Brazil in Code 4th Edition

"We propose the high level debate for the leaders of brazilian companies to have knowledge of efficient methods from standardized and globally applied processes", says João Carlos de Oliveira President of GS1 Brasil.

GS1 Brasil – Brazilian Automation Association – presented in the last thursday, July 31st, the 4th Edition of Brazil in Code, in the Hotel Caesar Business in São Paulo. The event reunited specialists of different economy sectors for a debate about contribution of automation to the companies in the current economic scenario, talking about the technologic trends that will impact the market in the next few years.

According to Marcos Honda, President of ACURA, "GS1 brings great visibility for its members before the market in general, being the utmost reference in Brazil in encoding and eletronic identification. Being part of this big technology panel, with our RFID products and solutions, is an excellent opportunity to be closer to potential clients from all over the country".

The event also had a presentation by Peter Hinssen, President of Across Technology and specialist in Technology's Impact on Society. Hinssen spoke about impact and large social adoption of technology and alignment between information and business.

Other themes such as ethical and productive competitivity, profitability and sustainability were brought up by the presenters such as Ricardo Amorim (Economist, strategist and IstoÉ's columnist), Mario de Agüero (CEO of GS1 Mexico), Rubén Calónico (CEO of GS1 Argentina), Mauricio Utiyama (Reckitt Benckiser Brasil and Latin America Commercial Director), Ricardo Ruiz Rodrigues (Logistic Director of Magazine Luiza) and Virginia Vaamonde (CEO of GS1 Brasil).
